Hi. I'm Matthew - and this is my blog. The idea for "On Becoming Daddy" came to me in the summer of 2009 when I realized that there are so many blogs from moms but so few from dads.

My desire for this blog is that other dads may find the inspiration to be even better dads. Perhaps this blog will minister to moms and others as well. All are welcome. So whoever you are, wherever you are in life, whether it's a good day or a bad day, I encourage you to never forget that no matter what - no matter how difficult the circumstance, God is in the midst of it all - and he cares for you and for me.
